Stefan Schwoch notices something wrong with Cagliari
Reached by Centrotrentuno.com, Stefan Schwoch had his say on the Serie B championship: “It is really very difficult. There are so many teams that can do well: Cagliari, Genoa, Benevento, Parma, the same Reggina that I indicated at the beginning of the season as a possible surprise, because I knew that Inzaghi could bother the biggest places, but Bari is also doing well. It is a championship that will be decided in May, when the moment will be crucial.”
The former striker then focused on Cagliari: “It is a well-structured team, with a coach who has already won in his career: this is important, but there are still some problems. I commented on the match against Bari and I did not like the team on that occasion. Even though there were not so many chances on either side and the game was settled by a spectacular play by Cheddira, I would have expected more from the red-blacks. True, neither deserved to win, Cagliari tried at the end but I would have expected a cleaner and more precise formation in the game as Liverani has become accustomed to. Instead there was a little too much confusion.”
In the Rossoblu formation, however, there is something that does not convince Schwoch: “I think Liverani has not been able to transmit his ideas to the group 100 percent yet, because when I saw the Lecce team that won Serie B play, it was something else. Cagliari and Genoa have set up the two most important roses, so he knows he has the pressure of having to win. And to win doesn’t all depend on the coach or the game, but on many factors.”
