Moto2, Celestino Vietti says goodbye to World Championship dream
For blue, the delay from Ogura and Fernandez is huge
Vietti’s world dreams fade in Japan. The Italian slipped (but was still 15th) and, in fact, said goodbye to the possibility of trying to win the World title. Same for Canet, who crashed when he was leading the race.
The Japanese Grand Prix saw the victory of the home champion Ogura who, thanks to this victory, moves just two points behind World Championship leader Fernandez (who finished second after a great comeback). The talk for the World Championship (when there are only four races left to the end of the season) will thus be between Fernandez (234 points) and Ogura (232).
