It ended with a score of 2-2 the first summer friendly match of Juventus, which at the Continassa, against Reggiana, remounted the initial disadvantage but, after going ahead, was finally caught up eighteen minutes from 90′. Beyond the result, for Igor Tudor it was an opportunity to test old and new faces on the eve of the new season.

To open the scoring was the Emilian club, scoring on 22′ with Natan Girma, who was good at getting past Di Gregorio for the 1-0. A minute later, however, came the equalizer: signed by Francisco Conceiçao, on an assist from one of the most anticipated men of this friendly, new Bianconeri striker Jonathan David. The two teams then went to’halftime on ’1-1.

At the start of the second half, Tudor scrambled the team, inserting Djaló, Rugani, Vlahovic, Khephren Thuram, McKennie, Yildiz, Joao Mario, Cambiaso, Pinsoglio and Gatti in place of Kelly, Bremer, David, Koopmeiners, Locatelli, Miretti, Nico Gonzalez, Kostic, Di Gregorio and Kalulu. Vlahovic himself scored after two minutes from the start of the second half: a clear message from a player who has been the protagonist of market rumors for several weeks now.

Reggiana did not stand idly by, however, and in minute 72 came up with the equalizer: it was signed by one of the staples of the Davide Dionigi-coached team, Cedric Gondo, who had already scored in the previous friendly played by the Grangiana against Alcione Milano. The result then did not change again until 90′: 2-2 the final result, next appointment for the Bianconeri on August 10 against Borussia Dortmund.
