Regina Baresi, heart surgery with a goal of returning to the field

Important announcement by Regina Baresi, who announced on Instagram that she will have to undergo very soon a’heart operation, which she herself defined, however, as “small”.

“Within a few days in the hospital to have cardiac ablation, a small heart operation, on Thursday the 7th. If you remember, I had told you about the strange arrhythmias I had under stress, and with my cardiologist after several reflections we decided to do this small operation to try to solve it permanently and return quietly to sports”.

Franco Baresi, Milan’s honorary vice president, has instead undergone surgery to remove a pulmonary nodulation. This was announced by the Rossoneri club itself through an official note: “AC Milan informs that, following routine investigations, our honorary vice president, Franco Baresi, was found to have a pulmonary nodulation, for which it was decided to proceed with the’removal by surgery using a minimally invasive technique”.

“The surgery went well and the postoperative course was free of complications – added the Diavolo statement in recent days. Franco was subsequently evaluated by the oncology specialist with indication for immunotherapy-based consolidation therapy”.
