Timothy Weah says goodbye to Juventus with a message of'love

Through an official statement, Juventus has announced the transfer of Timothy Weah to Olympique Marseille on loan with mandatory redemption. “After two seasons in bianconero, Timothy Weah says goodbye to Juventus – it reads -It is official the transfer on a temporary basis, with obligation of redemption, of the 25-year-old American to Olympique de Marseille. From the 2025/2026 season, therefore, Weah returns to play in Ligue 1“.
“Arriving in Turin in the summer of 2023, Timothy wore the Juventus jersey for two years, taking the field 78 times – including almost 40 as a starter – for a total of more than 3,500 minutes – adds the bianconeri note. There were seven goals scored, including six only in this last season, which was his best in terms of numbers: Weah, in fact, took part in 10 goals – six goals and four assists -, taking into account all competitions”.
The U.S. outfielder hailed the Bianconeri club via a post shared on his Instagram profile: “From a little boy who dreamed of the big stages, to the chance to wear the Bianconeri colors. Thank you for making my dream of playing with Juventus” a reality.
“I will always be grateful to this club, my teammates, the fans and the beautiful city of Turin. To my brothers in the locker room, thank you for hugging and pushing me every day. We built something real and I will always carry that with me. Thank you to all the fans for your support. I will forever be a Juventus fan!” concluded Weah.
