In the Italian basketball market, Virtus Bologna’s movements to grab a long and thus close the roster at its coach Dusko Ivanovic’s disposal continue to hold headlines.

At the top of the list now seems to be Kai Jones: a very explosive athlete with remarkable defensive skills, he would be getting ready for his first experience in European basketball. With the Dallas Mavericks, in 12 games played, the Italian champions’ target averaged 11.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

The class of 2001, a Bahamian national, seems attracted by landing in the Bologna club, also because of participation in the Euroleague, but first he would like to make sure that he has no more space in the NBA. And that is also why the signing has not yet come.

The bianconeri, who certainly cannot wait too long, are also keeping open the track related to Kenneth Faried, whom by now Reggio Emilia is becoming convinced it cannot have at its disposal even next season.
