Pisa, Luca D’Angelo sees one of his players in Serie A
“He’s going to the big leagues,” the Nerazzurri coach said.
Luca D’Angelo, Pisa’s new coach after the exoneration of Rolando Maran, spoke at the press conference on the eve of the match with Perugia, valid for the seventh day of Serie B.
D’Angelo opened the press conference with a comment on the national teams who returned from their respective commitments: “Regarding the national teams, the only one who returned a little more bruised is Hermannsson, but he is available. The others returned well, they are a bit tired, but that’s normal given the travels. Morutan has been training very well and certainly can play from the start or sub in a game: he has important technical qualities. Esteves is a player of great quality who can play not only on the right side of defense, but also as a midfielder, he combines running with good technique.”
“The newfound environment can help us, we know very well that Pisa, understood as a team, can lack many things, but the ability of the fans to help us is not lacking. They love the team and have shown that even before I came to the bench. Tomorrow despite the standings will be many in Perugia and we must realize that we have behind us a public that loves us,” continued the Nerazzurri coach.
Finally he wanted to give space for a thought on one of his players, “On Beruatto I still think he will be the strongest left-back in Serie B, a player who will play a very high percentage of games and go to Serie A. I don’t know how much he suffered the disappointment, it can be there, but we don’t know and neither does he. I saw him well.”
