Alvaro Morata lashes out at Galatasaray: "Unacceptable"

Alvaro Morata is one step away from becoming a new Como player. The negotiations are in the details, especially after Galatasaray has “released” the Spanish striker. In the official statement issued by the Turkish club, it speaks, clearly, of how the’agreement between the parties has been “…terminated by mutual consent”.

A view decidedly antithetical to what the Spanish national team centerman thinks, who, with a long post on his social channels, wanted to shed light on the’whole affair.

After thanking the Gala fans, Alvaro Morata attacked the club: “… Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my experience with the club. There were times when the given word and respect for core values were not kept. Until the end, commitments made were not honored, to the point that I was left with no choice but to give up part of my salary and other contractual rights that I had already earned through my work (the published figure is not exact). For me, in life and work, there are principles that should never be broken, such as respecting everyone’s rights. Not recognizing and compensating what I have earned is, to me, unacceptable and contrary to the values of fairness and professionalism in which I believe. I know that these issues are often not talked about openly, but I think it is only fair to give fans the real explanation of what happened”.

In short, not exactly a calm and peaceful farewell. Alvaro Morata leaves Turkey with a lot of anger. Now, however, there&#8217s to start a new adventure with Cesc Fabregas at Como. The experience at Galatasaray is, by now, behind him.
