The breakup between PSG and Gianluigi Donnarumma is one of the hottest topics in international soccer market. The Parisian club, which took Lucas Chevalier to replace him, has officially excluded him from the call-up list for the European Super Cup final against Tottenham.

Christian Abbiati, speaking at the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport, defended the Blue: “There&#8217s madness in all this. Or something has happened that we don&#8217t know about, and then okay, it&#8217s their business, which only concerns them. Otherwise it is crazy stuff, something that has no logical explanation”.

“You say it won him half a Champions League and I go further – added the’former Rossoneri goalkeeper -: even something more, than half a… Yet, from what I hear, it would seem he is poor with his feet…”.

“So, we can say that with the feet there are many better than him – he later admitted -, however, from here to change a goalkeeper who has stuck a Champions… A motivation that has incredible. I repeat, in Europe he made meaningless saves, interventions that few would be able to make”.

“Well, certainly someone of his level will fall on his feet and go to another big club, although it is a pity that he has to interrupt a cycle like that. I wish him the best solution because he deserves it” concluded Abbiati.
