NBA 2025/26 regular season unveiled: immediately James vs. Curry

Having wrapped up the 2024/25 season (with OKC winning the’ring), it is already time to think about who will take the throne as the new NBA Champion. The entire NBA regular season schedule has been unveiled. It starts, officially, next October 21.

As per tradition, Opening Night will feature the defending champions. OKC, led by the its ace Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, will try to get off on the right foot in the confrontation with the renewed and ambitious Houston Rockets. The Thunder, two days later, that is, on Oct. 23, will face the Pacers for a re-match of the last NBA Finals.

Of note, also on Oct. 21, is the splendid and fascinating challenge between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors. Once again, veterans LeBron James (40) and Steph Curry (37) one against the’other.

Note on the calendar the Oct. 22 contest between Dallas and San Antonio featuring the top two picks from the last NBA Draft, namely Cooper Flagg (Mavs) and Dylan Harper (Spurs). For those who like the “classic” New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics is scheduled for Oct. 24. It will have to wait until Nov. 24 to witness the return of Kevin Durant, now a Rockets all-star, to Phoenix. The first challenges valid for the’NBA Cup, however, have been scheduled for Oct. 31.
