Federico Chiesa drags Liverpool. De Zerbi, flop at first

Liverpool restarts with a victory in the sign of Federico Chiesa. The English champions took a chance on their Premier League debut at Anfield against Bournemouth: ahead by two goals through Ekitike and Gagkpo, they were put back in the second half by Semenyo’s double.
The newly acquired Wirtz was in trouble, and Chiesa came on for the’former Bayer in the final game, deciding the match with the 3-2 goal at 88’88’. For the former Juventus man, mostly ignored last season by Arne Slot, it was the first goal in the Premier League: the Azzurro at the end of a confusing action in the host penalty area solved it with a volley. In the final came Salah’s final 4-2 from outside the box.
It’s gone horribly wrong for De Zerbi-led Marseille, on the other hand, defeated in Rennes 1-0 on their Ligue 1 debut. OM was in numerical superiority for more than an hour after Ait Boudlal’s expulsion at 31′ but was unable to find the lead (just 2 shots in the goal mirror out of 24) and at 91′ suffered Blas′ s mocking goal.
The team was not able to find the advantage.
