Federica Masolin has become a mom: Nina was born
For Federica Masolin it was a Ferragosto 2025 with a decidedly special flavor: the journalist and anchorwoman of ‘Sky Sport‘ in fact gave birth to little Nina at the Mangiagalli Clinic in Milan, where she spent the very last stages of her pregnancy. The new mother herself made the’announcement on her Instagram profile, with a photo showing her with the new arrival (without showing her face).
“We won…t be by the sea but… full of’love” wrote Federica Masolin, one of the best-known faces of ‘Sky’ who for several years has been in charge of motorsports, particularly Formula 1, and for the past couple of seasons has instead switched to soccer, with the conduction of programs dedicated to European cups.
Masolin had announced her pregnancy last April during a television interview. Reactions to Nina’s birth were not long in coming: colleagues and associates, as well as sports personalities such as soccer player Cecilia Salvai, offered their congratulations to the journalist, who turned 40 last May 7.
In addition to her activity in the television context, Federica Masolin is also an ambassador of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. As for the personal sphere, the journalist has always kept her relationship and in general her private life out of the spotlight, coming out of the closet only at the time of the announcement of her pregnancy and, now, the birth of little Nina.
