Parma continues to move on the soccer market both outgoing and incoming. After the sale of Giovanni Leoni to Liverpool, the Gialloblù club also got rid of Antoine Hainaut, who was sold outright to Venezia, as evidenced by the official note of the ducal club.

“Parma Calcio announces that Antoine Hainaut has been sold outright to Venezia Football Club – it reads there. Purchased in 2022 from Union Sportive Boulogne Côte d’Opale, Antoine has collected 46 appearances (including 25 in the last Serie A) with the Gialloblu jersey in three seasons: last year he scored 2 goals in the top league, results that were fundamental in obtaining salvation (goal in Lecce for the final 2-2 draw and on the last day against Atalanta for the comeback-victory). The club wishes Antoine new and important sports successes for his professional career”.

Not only that: the Croatian club also announced a new purchase in attack: he is Matija Frigan, a Croatian forward born in 2003 from KVC Westerlo, a Belgian club playing in the Jupiler Pro League.

“Parma Calcio announces that Matija Frigan has been purchased outright from Koninklijke Voetbal Club Westerlo and has signed a contract until June 30, 2030 – is what the Gialloblù’s statement reads -. Born in Croatia in Rijeka in 2003, Matija played 137 career matches with four clubs, made his Europa League debut with HNK Rijeka and also played in the Champions League preliminaries. In the Croatian national team jersey, he has appeared with the U18, U19 and U21. But he is a striker and has only one fixed goal in his head: goals. He has scored 42, including 20 with KVC Westerlo. A great ability to see the goal, whether as a center forward or outside forward. His is an indispensable aptitude. And from today he will be at the service of the yellow-blue colors. The whole club welcomes Matjia!”.
