La Liga 2025-2026: Elche-Betis, the probable formations

Monday night’s postponement of the first day of La Liga pits two teams with different goals against each other: on the one hand, Elche, fresh off promotion that will try to stay in the top flight; on the other hand, Betis, determined to clinch qualification for the next Champions League after finishing sixth last season, coming close to doing so. Sarabia is banking on the attacking tandem formed by Mourad and Ali Houary. A five-man midfield with Nunez and Valera on the outsides, while the defense will be led by Bigas.

Pellegrini has to do without the injured Isco: room for Lo Celso in the three-quarter, with Pablo Garcia and Riquelme on the flanks, in front of the lone point Cucho Hernandez. Midfield dike composed of Fornals and Altimira, in defense the’former Napoli man Natan.
