Acropolis Tournament: Italy rematched and defeated by Greece in'last match before European Championships

Italy was beaten by Greece in the second game of the Acropolis Tournament: in Athens, Pozzecco&#8217s national team succumbed 76-74 to the hosts after leading by 10 points at the long interval. It was the second defeat in two games for the Azzurri, who had been decisively bent by Latvia on Thursday.

Italy, which is preparing for the European Championships, enjoyed an’excellent percentage in three-point shooting in the first half, which ended 40-30 ahead. The reaction of the Hellenes was very strong in the next two quarters, when Antetokounmpo and his teammates put on the turbo and quickly rebounded, also taking advantage of the difficulties at the basket of ours.
