Dinamo Sassari re-embraces Achille Polonara
Dinamo Sassari has announced the’signing of Achille Polonara: the basketball player from the Marche region, undergoing treatment for leukemia, has returned after six years to Sardinia, where he lived one of the most beautiful and significant experiences of his career.
“A potential high-profile graft for Dinamo Banco di Sardegna: the club is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached, once conditions allow, for the return to biancoblu of Achille Polonara, who will rejoin Sassari after six seasons spent at the top of European basketball with the jerseys of Baskonia, Fenerbahce, Efes, Zalgiris Kaunas and Virtus Bologna”.
