Luca Nardi, lightning elimination at US Open

Luca Nardi was immediately eliminated in the first round of the U.S. Open 2025 by Czech Tomas Machac, the No. 21 seed on the board of the last Slam tournament of the season. The Marche-based tennis player was unable to resist his opponent, and succumbed decisively in three sets with the score of 6-3, 6-1, 6-1.

The Czech player was unable to resist his opponent.

Nardi managed to stay on court only one’hour and twenty minutes against the Czech tennis player, author of a solid performance but also favored by the many errors of the Blue, who ran into as many as 10 double faults and committed 31 unforced errors.

The Italian tennis player had started with confidence, missing two break points and leading 3-2 in the first set. Then the blackout of the Marche player, who lost confidence on serve with a series of errors that doomed him. The second and third halves were without history, with Nardi unable to regain his tennis.
