Nervous breakdown for Daniil Medvedev: "Someone help him"

The tennis world is questioning Daniil Medvedev’s critical moment: the Russian tennis player, winner of the 2021 US Open, former world number one and three-time finalist at the Australian Open, seems to have ended up in an irreversible crisis and in 2025 has never made it past the second round of a Slam tournament.

Against Frenchman Bonzi at Flushing Meadows, the Russian tennis player lost his mind, first by riling up the crowd, then destroying his racket.

Lex tennis player Boris Becker showed great concern for the Moscow champion: “We call it a public breakdown. I think he needs professional help” are the words on X.

L’former tennis player and coach Brad Gilbert agreed: “He definitely needs help. Unfortunately, he lost control after so many defeats this year, he did the same thing in Washington“. Medvedev&#8217s colleague Tiafoe was also very harsh: “It&#8217s been a circus, he went too far”.
