Conrad Harder-Milan, Panathinaikos slows everything down

Sporting has virtually closed the signing of Fotis Ioannidis, a 25-year-old Greek striker who, once he lands in Lisbon, will open the door to Conrad Harder’s transfer to AC Milan.
According to reports in the Lusitanian sports daily O Jogo, Panathinaikos is ready to accept an offer from the “Leões” around 20 million euros. However, instead of going immediately to the Portuguese capital, Ioannidis will travel with the team coached by Rui Vitória and head to Turkey: in the Europa League play-off match against Samsunspor he is expected to start from the bench and may not even be used.
If all goes as planned, the Greek center forward will arrive in Lisbon on Saturday, or Sunday at the latest, to undergo medical examinations and sign a five-year contract with Sporting, where he will reunite with compatriot and former teammate Vagiannidis.
Once the purchase of Ioannidis is complete, Sporting will give the go-ahead for Harder (Pernille, beautiful and talented, is not his sister) to move to Italy. Milan will pay 24 million euros plus 3 million in bonuses, while the Portuguese club will keep a 10 percent on the future resale of the Dane.
