Juventus, last minute coup: negotiations with Real Madrid are underway

Juventus has contacted Real Madrid for Dani Ceballos: according to rumors reported by the As newspaper, the Blancos midfielder has decided to leave the team because he is not central to the plans of new coach Xabi Alonso. Right on his trail would be the Bianconeri, ready to make an’offer in the last days of the market to sign the player, due to expire in 2027.

Ceballos in recent weeks had been very close to a move to Marseille on the basis of a loan with right of redemption, but the deal had fallen through. Now Juventus could try to do the same: the Bianconeri market men want a midfielder with his qualities to raise the level of the midfield at Igor Tudor’s disposal.

Some market intermediaries would be in Turin to find an’understanding. Ceballos grew up in the Real Madrid youth academy but made his professional debut for Betis Sevilla. In 2017 he returned to Madrid, while in 2019-2021 he played on loan at Arsenal’Arsenal. With the Blancos he won two Spanish championships and three Champions Leagues, among others.
