Napoli has picked up Rasmus Hojlund: the figures and the special clause

Napoli has scored an attacking coup: Rasmus Hojlund is on his way from Manchester United. The Neapolitan club has secured the Danish player on an onerous loan deal of 6 million euros with a buy-back obligation at 44 million. The player will undergo medical examinations on Sunday and sign a contract with the Neapolitan club.
In Hojlund’s contract there will be an 80 million euro termination clause. The player returns to Italy after two years of ups and downs in the Premier League, where he failed to establish himself. Napoli has stepped up efforts after Romelu Lukaku’s injury: at the moment the only first-team forward available to Conte is Lucca.
Hojlund will put pen to paper on a €5 million-a-season contract until 2031. The Copenaghen-raised Danish striker was bought from Atalanta in 2022 for 17 million, and sold to England for 70.
At Manchester United Hojlund played a total of 95 games, scoring 26 goals. On the player there’s also been Milan.
