The eighth place in Austria and ninth in Hungary (in addition to the withdrawal in the sprint in Spielberg and thirteenth place in the short race in Balaton) have confirmed the doubts, already strong this season, on the combination Pecco Bagnaia-Desmosedici GP 25: ahead of the Catalan GP, however, the Piedmontese rider of the official Ducati has every intention of returning to the top positions.

The complicated weekend of Balaton has also had a positive side, according to the same Bagnaia: “After qualifying, we decided to make very important changes to the bike and I found a good feeling driving especially during the race on Sunday. We continue on this path, we work to confirm the same good feelings on this track”.

The goal is to return to the podium, a feeling that has been missing since the third place at Sachsenring: since then Bagnaia has shown obvious difficulties as much in the Czech Republic as in Austria and Hungary, unlike the teammate Marc Marquez who, instead, has continued to dominate the scene, further extending his series of consecutive successes.

In the overall standings Pecco is third, with 228 points to his credit: ahead of him, in addition to the almost unreachable Marc Marquez (455 his points) there&#8217s also the latter&#8217s brother, Alex, at 280. Bagnaia must also look over his shoulder in the rainbow standings, as the fourth-ranked, Marco Bezzecchi on an Aprilia, is only 31 points away.
