MotoGp, Ducati: Marc Marquez dottes the i’s

After seven consecutive race weekends in which he was able to make full spoils, increasing exponentially in the lead in the standings, Marc Marquez knows well that in the next Gp, the one in Barcelona (practically his home) the pressure will be all on him: also for this reason, the number 93 wants to avoid letting himself go to easy enthusiasms.

“This at least on paper, is not one of my best tracks, even at the level of results – explained Marquez, ributing a concept already expressed in recent days -. In any case, my home race and the atmosphere of the fans is always unique and special. Friday from the first free practice we will try to understand the true values in the field”.

“Let’s stay focused and bring home as many points as possible considering that this track enhances riding and technical characteristics also of the opponents” added the World Championship leader, who in Balaton, in the Hungarian Grand Prix, updated the number of tracks on which he managed to win, bringing to 22 (only Valentino Rossi, with 23 different tracks, managed to do better).

In the World Championship standings, Marc Marquez leads with 455 points, a full 175 more than the runner-up, his brother Alex (who has collected 280 points so far). Until the end of the championship, the points available, winning all the races, are 296: the margin to catch up is getting slimmer and slimmer, with Marc Marquez now close to his ninth world title, his seventh in the premier class.
