F1 Gp Italia: Verstappen’s lesson at Monza. Leclerc and Ferrari come close to podium finish

Max Verstappen won the 2025 Italian Grand Prix d’Italia Grand Prix: at Monza, the Dutch Red Bull driver signed a masterpiece victory, dominating the race despite an inferior car compared to the two McLarens, which came in second place with Lando Norris and third with Oscar Piastri.
The four-time world champion, in his third win of the season, managed to overtake Lando Norris on lap four after a chaotic start in which he was forced to cede position to the Englishman. Having taken the lead, Max then commanded the race, putting himself on the safe side by dint of fast laps. Good performance by Ferrari: Charles Leclerc finished fourth, while Lewis Hamilton finished sixth behind George Russell.
The Top 10 was completed by Albon, Antonelli, Ocon and Hadjar; Fernando Alonso and Hulkenberg retired. In the overall standings Piastri now has a 31-point lead over Norris in the all-McLaren fight for the world title.
