Italvolley, crowd bath at Malpensa for return after world triumph

Italy embraces the world champions. At 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, the Azzurri, fresh from their rainbow success in Bangkok, returned to Italy on a flight that left the Thai capital overnight and after a stopover in Dubai.

Captain Danesi was the first to walk through the door of Malpensa Terminal 1 showing fans and journalists present the World Cup won just over 24 hours ago in the final against Turkey.

An authentic bath of crowds and affection that left the protagonists of the world feat speechless who, despite the tiredness of the long journey, did not shirk from selfies, interviews and autographs.
