Juventus, Bremer closes most difficult chapter for good

Back to full strength this season after playing only eight matches in 2024/2025 due to the 2024/2025 ACL injury, Gleison Bremer explained that he has closed that difficult chapter for good and is ready to embrace Loic Openda: it was precisely against the new Bianconeri striker that Bremer went up against during Juventus-Lipsia last year, procuring the serious injury.
“We haven–t seen each other yet – the Brazilian defender told the club’s official channels -, but I simply think he will apologize again and the talk will give ended forever. Already at the time of the events he came to apologize in person, in the end it was a clash of play that can happen. As fate would have it, after a year we worked together, it will be nice”.
Bremer arrived at Juventus in the summer of 2022, after four seasons at Torino, immediately taking a starting spot with both Massimiliano Allegri and Thiago Motta, at least at the beginning of last season. However, the serious injury kept him out for almost a year, with training resuming close to the World Club Championship, during which he still did not play.
In the first two days of the championship Bremer played as a starter, without being replaced, against both Parma and Genoa. Next to him played, in the three-man defense wanted by Igor Tudor, Fabio Gatti in both games, Pierre Kalulu against the Ducali and Lloyd Kelly against the Grifone. Bremer is linked to Juventus by a long contract, which expires on June 30, 2029.
