VR46, Fabio Di Giannantonio sets a goal for Misano

Leaving behind the crash in the Catalan GP, Fabio Di Giannantonio is determined to realize his excellent potential at the Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini, the sixteenth round of the MotoGP World Championship scheduled for the weekend.

In Misano, Fabio took two third places in Moto3 (in 2017 and 2018) and a second position in 2019 (in Moto2), for a total of three consecutive podiums. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider comes to the track familiar to him in seventh position in the world championship with the same number of points (161) as his teammate Franco Morbidelli.

“We arrive in Misano with the goal of having a straight weekend – stressed the Roman to the team’s official channels -, after so many races where, for one reason or another, Sunday did not go as we wanted. It is a track that I know well and we will be able to have fun, having proven to be fast and competitive”.

“We hope the home race will give us this joy of being able to push all weekend to the maximum. Certainly the family, friends and fans will give us an extra boost. We will also try to take advantage of this extra energy to have a solid weekend” Di Giannantonio commented.
