MotoGP, Misano: start with a bang for the VR46 Racing Team

The free practice of the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix opened in the sign of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, which placed Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio in first and third place, respectively.
The Italo-Brazilian rider was the fastest of all at the Misano circuit, signing the best time of 1’31″342, ahead of the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo, about two and a half tenths behind, as well as the Roman, just 5 thousandths away from the Frenchman.
The Marquez brothers rounded out the top 5: Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) was ahead of Marc Marquez (Ducati), 269 thousandths away from leader Morbidelli. Far away Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati), only 11th, behind Jorge Martin, 10th on his Aprilia.
