Igor Protti is back talking through social media to update fans on his health condition. In fact, the former Livorno, Bari, Lazio, and Napoli striker is once again hospitalized at Santa Chiara Hospital and, as he recounted in the post shared Friday morning on Instagram and Facebook, the news is not encouraging.

“After the ostomy surgery and eight chemotherapy sessions, the host decided to visit my vertebrae – he boldly recounted -. It starts with radiation therapy”.

An announcement that has deeply shaken the many fans and enthusiasts who in recent months have followed with affection the footballer’s most difficult battle, supporting him daily with messages and closeness.
