Bundesliga 2025-2026: Bayer Leverkusen-Eintracht Frankfurt, the likely lineups

After a nightmarish start to the league, with only one point collected in two games, and Erik ten Hag&#8217s exoneration, Bayer Leverkusen returns to the pitch after the break dedicated to national team activities with a new coach, Kasper Hjulmand, called upon to get a result against one of the teams with full points, Eintracht Frankfurt.

Tactically, Hjulmand should not change the cards too much, proposing in all likelihood a three-man defense consisting of Quansah, Badé and Tapsoba. In attack, Patrik Schick, author of two goals in the 3-3 draw in Bremen last August 30, is confirmed, supported on the three-quarter line by Tella and Tillman.

As for Eintracht, coach Dino Toppmöller will bet on a lineup with two midfielders, three men on the three-quarter line (among them there is great expectation for Japan&#8217s Doan and Turkey&#8217s Uzun, who have already shown they can strike at the right time) and a main offensive reference, center forward Jonathan Burkardt.

Probable lineups

BAYER LEVERKUSEN (3-4-2-1): Flekken; Quansah, Badé, Tapsoba; Vazquez, Garcia, Andrich, Grimaldo; Tella, Tillman; Schick. All. Hjulmand.

EINTRACHT FRANKFURT (4-2-3-1): Zetterer; Kristensen, Koch, Collins, Theate; Larsson, Chaibi; Doan, Uzun, Bahoya; Burkardt. All. Toppmöller.
