Serie B, Modena, Frosinone and Cesena in the lead

Six matches played today of the third day of Serie B, propelling Modena, Frosinone and Cesena to the top of the standings.

The Emilians at home beat Bari 3-0 decisively, while the Lazio team won 1-0 in Padova. Same for the Romagnoli, who won at the Ferraris over Sampdoria 2-1.

Three draws in the other three matches: 0-0 between Juve Stabia and Reggiana, 2-2 between Pescara and Venezia, 1-1 between Catanzaro and Carrarese. Avellino beat Monza 2-1 yesterday.

Tomorrow the last three matches are scheduled: at 3 p.m. Entella-Mantova, at 5.15 p.m. Südtirol-Palermo, with both teams likely to catch up with the leaders, and finally at 7.30 p.m. Empoli-Spezia.
