Napoli overwhelms Fiorentina and remains on full points with Juventus

At the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Napoli overwhelmed Fiorentina 3-1 in today’s last match of the third day of Serie A.

The Italian champions took the lead after six minutes: three minutes earlier Comuzzo landed Anguissa in his own area, referee Zufferli awarded the penalty to the partenopei, after a Var check the decision was confirmed and from the penalty spot De Bruyne dispatched De Gea.

At 14 minutes the doubling: Spinazzola for Hojlund who surprises on the snap Pongracic and coldly kills De Gea. On 51′ the tris: from Politano’s corner kick, Anguissa serves Beukema who puts in the net from a few steps.

In the 79th minute the hosts shortened the gap: corner by Nicolussi Caviglia, Lucca’s touch and Ranieri beat Milinkovic-Savic. Napoli joins Juventus on full points at the top of the standings.
