Marc Marquez triumphs in Misano ahead of Bezzecchi and Alex Marquez, Pecco Bagnaia falls

Marc Marquez on the factory Ducati triumphed in the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini MotoGP class Grand Prix ahead of Marco Bezzecchi on Aprilia and Alex Marquez on Ducati Gresini. Fourth was the Team Ducati VR46 pairing of Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio. Another negative race for Pecco Bagnaia, who crashed just before mid-race.
At the first corner it is Bezzecchi who transits in the lead ahead of Marc and Alex, then Quartararo, Morbidelli, Di Giannantonio, Acosta and Bagnaia. The first three immediately take some advantage, behind them Acosta rises to fourth place, but on the eighth lap he is forced to retire due to the incredible loss of the chain.
The next lap Bagnaia ends up on the ground thus continuing his disastrous season. On lap 12 Bezzecchi makes a mistake by going wide at turn 8 and Marc Marquez, who was glued to him from the start, overtakes him, and meanwhile in the rear also falls Bastianini.
The top three positions do not change until the end and Marc Marquez wins the 11th Grand Prix of the season ahead of Bezzecchi and Alex. For the Ducati star, the return to success in a world championship after six years with six races to go is just a step away: his lead in the standings over his brother is 182 points.
