Paolo Vanoli toward a return to the bench after his farewell to Torino

Paolo Vanoli could soon return to the bench. The former Torino coach, still under contract with the Granata club until June 2026, has reportedly been contacted by Panathinaikos and is considering a possible adventure in Greece.
Vanoli could succeed Rui Vitoria, who was just exonerated by the Hellenic club after the league defeat against Kifisias. Tuttomercatoweb reports.
At Panathinaikos Vanoli would find an Italian player, the’former Milan player Davide Calabria. Pana got off to a bad start in the league, losing two of their first three games.
Vanoli is coming off a disappointing season on the Turin bench, where he totaled 10 wins in 38 games, finishing 11th in the league. The 53-year-old coach has also coached Spartak Moscow and Venezia in his career, and previously managed the Azzurri youth national teams from the Under 16 to the Under 19.
