Matteo Berrettini is not smiling on his return from injury. The Roman tennis player, a former world No. 6, was defeated in the first round of the Hangzhou Open 2025 ATP tournament that opens the Chinese tour of the circuit. L’Azzurro, number 8 in the main draw, succumbed immediately to Czech Dalibor Svrčina, who was repechaged from the qualifiers.
