The former Inter and Torino man goes to Francesco Farioli’s

Yann Karamoh is a new Porto player. L’former Inter, Parma and Torino among others, who was free, has signed a one-year contract with the Dragons. This was announced by the Portuguese club itself through an official statement released on its website.
Born in Abidjan, the largest city in the Ivory Coast, Karamoh moved to Paris when he was only eight years old and made his first contact with European soccer at Racing Club Colombes. In 2011, Caen discovered him and brought him to Normandy, where he soon signed a professional contract – after being called up with the French Under 16 team – and made his debut with the B team at the age of 16.
As he climbed the national youth selections – in less than two years he was called up for the Under 17, Under 18, and Under 19 – he also found space in the choices of Patrice Garande, who launched him against Lorient on August 13, 2016. Five goals and three assists in 36 Ligue 1 games attracted the interest of several foreign clubs, but it was Inter Milan that won the competition, bringing him to Milan.
He made his debut as a starter (and scoring) against Bologna and, after 18 games, was sold on loan to Bordeaux with the status of French Under-20 and Under-21 national team player. Yann Karamoh then made a stop at Parma – where he arrived on loan but stayed for a season and a half – before moving to Turkey, to Karagümrük, where he met Francesco Farioli.
In his first experience as coach, the current Porto coach used the outfielder in 35 games, seeing him score four goals and provide one assist. Fate separated them after just one season, when the Frenchman returned to Italy and, after a new loan spell at Montpellier, worked with Lino Godinho – current assistant coach of the Dragons – at Torino.
Closing his experience with the Italian club, Yann Karamoh will continue his career at Porto and go on to expand the options of a squad that leads the Portuguese league and is set to face Europa League, Portuguese Cup and League Cup.
