Serie A 2025-2026: Lecce-Cagliari, the likely lineups

It is already at a first crossroads of the season for Eusebio Di Francesco’s Lecce, which in the first three days of the championship has collected one point out of the nine available (0-0 against Genoa in the first), going on to score only once, in the 4-1 suffered by Atalanta. In front, however, there&#8217s a Cagliari galvanized by the 2-0 win inflicted on Parma, Fabio Pisacane&#8217s first success as coach in A.

At the Via del Mare, the Salentini are called for a burst of pride: Pierotti, Stulic and Tete Morente have the task of unblocking an attack that is struggling, while in midfield Lassana Coulibaly, Ramadani and Berisha are called upon to make the Giallorossi manivra more fluid than what has been seen in the first three days of the new Serie A season.

As for Cagliari, Pisacane has certainties especially in defense, with Zappa and Obert on either side and Yerry Mina (in goal against Parma) and Luperto in the center of the backline. In attack is Sebastiano Esposito the main terminal, while in midfield Palestra and Folorunsho will have license to strike when needed, supported by Adopo, Prati and Deiola in the center.

Probable lineups

LECCE (4-3-3): Falcone; Veiga, Gaspar, Tiago Gabriel, Gallo; L. Coulibaly, Ramadani, Berisha; Pierotti, Štulić, Tete Morente. All. Di Francesco.

CAGLIARI (4-5-1): Caprile; Zappa, Mina, Luperto, Obert; Palestra, Adopo, Prati, Deiola, Folorunsho; S. Esposito. All. Pisacane.
