Giacomo Naldi returns to the subject of Jannik Sinner and dots the i’s.

Returning to the ATP circuit in 2025 to follow Francesco Passaro, Giacomo Naldi is back to talk about Jannik Sinner more than a year after the’interruption of the professional relationship with the’South Tyrolean. The Bologna physiotherapist, from the columns of ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, did not hide in the face of questions about the’South Tyrolean, making his position clear.
“I have never wanted to comment on what happened with the Sinner team and I will continue not to do so” explained Naldi, who has returned this season to breathe the atmosphere of ATP tournaments along with Passaro, the current number 139 on the circuit. “Did I feel I was being watched? No, in fact, it was like picking up the thread where I left off. In the end time passes, people move on each according to their own path”.
Naldi then explained that he has no problem with Sinner or his team: “Beyond everything, there remains the human relationship after a case that involved us and it was just an unfortunate series of coincidences, we are aware of that. I saw Cahill, who was always very kind, I crossed Ferrara. I come from basketball, I have always tried to bring team spirit to the Sinner team as well, and it is one of the things that has been most appreciated”.
Naldi was keen to reiterate once again that what is in the past remains in the past: “What happened cannot be changed but one must turn the page, life goes on” sentenced the’former physiotherapist of the South Tyrolean, who is confident with these words to put a definitive end to the issue related to the’farewell to the Italian star.
