Entry list of the Vienna ATP 500, Jannik Sinner is also on it

Jannik Sinner will be on court in the Vienna ATP 500. The world No. 2, currently playing in Beijing, where he overwhelmed Marin Čilić with a double 6-2 on his debut, confirmed his participation in the Vienna Open, scheduled for Oct. 20-26. Today the official entry list was released, in which Sinner’s name appears as the No. 1 seed.
Along with the Sesto Pusteria outfielder, who already triumphed in Vienna two years ago, there will also be Alexander Zverev, world No. 3, Alex De Minaur, No. 8, and Lorenzo Musetti, No. 9. Also present from Italy will be Flavio Cobolli and Luciano Darderi, while Matteo Berrettini and Mattia Bellucci would be forced to play the qualifiers at the moment.
The Vienna tournament adds to Jannik’s already very busy schedule, who after Beijing will fly to Shanghai for the Chinese Masters 1000, which will conclude the Asian tour before moving to Riyadh for the very rich Six Kings Slam tournament-exhibition. Then it will be on to Vienna, which will precede the last Masters 1000 of the year, Paris-Bercy, and, most importantly, the ATP Finals in Turin and the Davis Cup finals.
This year Jannik Sinner has won two tournaments, but they are two extra-luxury tournaments: the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and he has played all four Slam tournament finals, losing those at Roland Garros and the US Open to Carlos Alcaraz, who ousted him from the throne of world tennis. His win-loss record stands at 37 (38 with today’s win over Čilić) to 5 (4 with Alcaraz).
