MotoGP: Pecco Bagnaia is back, his in the Sprint Race at Motegi

Super Pecco Bagnaia: the rider won the Sprint Race of the Japanese Grand Prix ahead of Marc Marquez. Completing the podium was Pedro Acosta on a KTM, fourth place for Mir, fifth Morbidelli and sixth Quartararo.
“I’m back doing what I like, I thank all my team who did an incredible job to deliver me a fantastic bike – said Bagnaia after the race -. I started strong, pushed and then controlled. Everything went well, I am overjoyed and very proud of myself and the team. In Misano we found the square, here we didn”t touch anything.
“We had a few little problems yesterday at the beginning of the session but luckily we solved it quickly. I led the race at my own pace and I really missed that. It’s a great pity we didn’t get there sooner, it would have been a completely different championship, at least mine”.
Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin ended up knocked out at the first corner: ongoing medical checks for the rider from Rimini, his colleague, on the other hand, suffered a dislocated fracture of the right shoulder. Martin was first taken to the circuit’s medical center, then it was decided to transfer him by helicopter to Tokyo’s hospital.
