West Ham, new coach is Nuno Espirito Santo: "Happy and proud"

After Graham Potter’s exoneration, West Ham has decided to set its sights on Nuno Espirito Santo as its new coach. This was announced by the English club itself through an official statement.Nuno has signed a three-year contract with the Hammers and will make his debut on the bench on Monday night when West Ham is engaged in an away match against Everton.

The Portuguese coach arrives in London after a distinguished coaching career, culminating last season with the European qualification achieved at the helm of Nottingham Forest thanks to a seventh-place finish in the Premier League and an FA Cup semifinal.

“I am very happy to be here and proud to represent West Ham United – he said.

My goal is to work hard to get the most out of the team and make it as competitive as possible. The work has already started and I look forward to the challenges ahead”.

Nuno Espirito Santo will be joined temporarily by Academy coaches Mark Robson, Steve Potts, Gerard Prenderville, and Billy Lepine pending new updates on his technical and management staff.
