Italian Supercup is Milan’s, Brescia dominated in final

At the Assago Forum, hosts EA7 Emporio Armani Milano won the Italian Supercup for the sixth time in its history after those of 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2024. In the final, it dominated Germani Brescia with a score of 90-76.

Olimpia always led the match since the initial 6-0 lead. In the first ten minutes it touched the nine-length lead but ended them ahead 28-24. In the second quarter Brescia got close again to -1 but a basket by Niccolò Mannion pushed it back to -3: 47-44 at halftime.

The third quarter saw Milan immediately take the lead and before the last ten minutes the score was 69-55. Immediately at the beginning of the last quarter comes the maximum lead, +18, touched again in the final 90-72, in the last minute of the game the most titled team in Italy is already celebrating.

The best scorer of the match is Josh Nebo with 18 ounces to which he adds 7 rebounds, four other players from Ettore Messina’s team are in double figures. For Matteo Cocelli’s Germani, 14 points came from C.J. Massinburg and Jason Burnell. For Messina it is the fourth Super Cup and for Milan the first trophy after the passing of owner Giorgio Armani.
