Series B, Modena alone in the lead

Two matches played today for the fifth day of Serie B. In the first one, Modena beat Pescara 2-1, Empoli-Carrarese instead ends 2-2.
The Emilians at Braglia won in a comeback over the Abruzzesi, who took the lead in the 40th minute with Olzer, then Gliozzi in the 52nd minute on a penalty kick and Sersanti in the 58th minute overturned the score.
In the Tuscan derby, guests took the lead at Castellani with Zanon in the 16th minute, the hosts reversed the situation in the 43rd minute with Shpendi and in the 78th minute with Ceesay, Finotto’s final equalizer in the 88th minute.
With today’s victory, Modena moves alone to the top of the standings, detaching Palermo and Cesena, who drew 1-1 in their direct clash yesterday.
