Federico Bernardeschi reveals a backstory on Cristiano Ronaldo
Interviewed by Gianluca Gazzoli in his podcast, Federico Bernardeschi also talked about Cristiano Ronaldo: “When you are dealing with him you have to know that he is a’company within a’company, that he is your teammate but at the same time he is not”.
“He is him, there’s no comparison. If you are aware of this, you have no problem. An extraordinary man, an incredible person, crazy humility. And I must say that when you get compliments from one of the strongest people in history, the first reaction you have is, ‘wow’. I always had a very good relationship with him, when I would come in he would always say “Eh, here is the’Italian with style” recalled the Bologna champion.
Bernardeschi then talked about his controversial move from Fiorentina to Juventus: “Let“Let’s say it was heavy because not only do you go to Juventus, but it’s number 10 that goes to Juventus. So I understand the reaction of the purple fans”.
“It is very easy to insult, it is part of the game. I was 23 years old and these are opportunities that one can decide to take or not to take. I decided to take it, Fiorentina gave me so much and I will never forget that. Regardless, you take responsibility for a choice that you make”.
