Ambra Sabatini won the gold medal in the 100-meter T63 at the ongoing World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi.

Two years after her triumph in Paris and four years after her triumph at the Tokyo Games, the world record holder is once again on top of the world with a time of 14″39, in a comeback over the’Indonesian Karisma Evi Tiarani and Great Britain sprinter Ndidikama Okoh, the two T42 athletes who then came to the finish line in second and third in 14″65 and 14″66, respectively.

An’other medal to Italy brought Ndiaga Dieng, the new world champion in the 800 T20. The middle distance runner did not let himself be surprised by Maksim Angelov, who immediately took the lead, and at 600 meters put himself ahead of everyone to cross the finish line in first position in 1’53″91.

That won between the lanes of the Indian stadium is the first rainbow medal for Dieng, who also holds the world record over the distance.
