Pecco Bagnaia has a clear goal for the last races of the season

Pecco Bagnaia, after his second triumph of the season in Motegi ahead of teammate Marc Marquez, who was crowned world champion, is preparing to face the Indonesian Grand Prix with a very specific goal in mind. Here are the words of Ducati’s Turin-based rider.
“Confidence has changed, I know my package can give me more in terms of performance. I can’t wait to start strong, we will start with the same bike as Motegi and see what we can do. In the past we had to fix some problems, now that shouldn’t be the case. The best I can do is to try to get second place, Alex (Marquez ed) has done a great job so far, 66 points is a lot but I will try to do my best to fill it”.
“In Misano we decided to try different things that also gave me more confidence and performance in the past. If I tried Morbidelli’s bike? I won’t confirm it, but the feeling came from something I had tried in the past. I know my potential, I knew I would be competitive again once I got back to riding like I was used to doing – he stressed. I had to wait until the Misano test to try something different on the bike, and from there I went back to riding the way I knew.”
“I think I can continue on the path of Japan, this track has never been easy for me and I will have to try to adapt, I have already talked with the team about the setup. I don’t mind as a track anyway, let’s see if we will be competitive right away. The screaming during the race? It happens many times, but I often smiled and also cried. When you ride a MotoGP you are excited 10 times more than usual, the emotions are amplified. It is a moment when you feel alone and you are free to express yourself without brakes”.
