The curtain rises on the Tigotà 2025/2026 A1 Series. After more than a month of preparation and the Courmayeur Cup weekend, Numia Vero Volley Milan is ready to take the court to experience its tenth consecutive season in the top league. Home debut for the lineup led by coach Stefano Lavarini who, in the unprecedented Monday Night Match on Monday, Oct. 6 at 8:30 p.m. (live DAZN and VBTV), will host Bergamo within the walls of Monza’Opiquad Arena in the derby valid for the first day of Regular Season.

A challenge that promises to be an interesting one between the two Lombardy teams, which are about to face this sports season with renewed rosters. Monday&#8217s will be the tenth confrontation between the two teams (Milan leads with eight wins): after the last face-to-face played last February at the’Allianz Cloud – won by Numia 3-0 – the two teams return to challenge each other with the’goal of winning precious points to start the championship in the best possible way. Three former players in the match, starting on the bench, with the coach of the Orobiche – Carlo Parisi – who played for Vero Volleyball in the 2019/2020 season. Instead, to have worn the Bergamo jersey are slappers Khalia Lanier and Emma Cagnin, teammates in the Rossoblu ranks in the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 seasons.

Bergamo comes to the starting blocks of this Tigotà A1 Series with a mix of confirmations and new arrivals. On the bench we start again with coach Carlo Parisi, in his second season with the Rossoblu colors. In the director&#8217s booth the arrival of Eze, supported by teammate Carraro. The setter section sees the confirmations of captain Mlejnkova, Cese Montalvo and Bolzonetti, along with new entry Mosser. In place 2 the newcomers Kipp and Weske, while at center are Meli and Micheletti to complete the department with Strubbe and Manfredini. Closing out the roster are libero Armini and Ferrario.
