Estonia-Italy: how many formation doubts for Rino Gattuso
Italy is ready to face two delicate commitments in view of qualifying for the next World Cup. There’s to secure the second place in the group and, to do so, challenges with Estonia and Israel must be won. If then Norway, first in the standings, were to slip up in the match with Israel, here is where one could also dream of first place but, in the meantime, two wins are needed.
On Saturday night, the national team will be on stage in Tallinn. The Azzurri have beaten 5-0 but scoring all the goals in the second half. Coach Gattuso does not want to take any risks but has to deal with some important defections, especially those of Politano and Zaccagni, two outfielders who would have come in handy against the Estonians.
Different doubts regarding the eleven that will take the field from the first minute. Almost certain the 4-1-3-2 with Di Lorenzo, Bastoni, Calafiori and Dimarco in front of Donnarumma. Then, lots of ballots. In front of the defense, one between Locatelli and Cristante will play, with the latter in great form in the Roma shirt.
Forward, the goal-scoring pair formed by Kean and Retegui is confirmed. It remains to be seen who the three behind them will be. Tonali and Barella should play from the first minute. The third will be chosen among Udogie, Spinazzola and Cambiaso with the Juventino currently in pole position. Fortunately, coach Gattuso still has time before making his final choices.
