Juventus: operation for Sandro Tonali starts

Juventus is keeping a close eye on the Sandro Tonali situation: the Bianconeri club wants to revolutionize its midfield in the coming market sessions and sees the Azzurri player as the pivot on which to base its strategy. The former AC Milan midfielder, who returned to Italy for the Azzurri matches against Estonia and Israel, is shining with Newcastle in the Premier League and has become one of the Magpies’ idols.
As Goal reports, Tonali spoke about his future in a meeting with his attorney Giuseppe Riso in Milan. The class of 2000 is reportedly ready to open up to a return to Serie A as a star player in Turin.
Tonali signed a contract with Newcastle until 2028, at 7 million euros net per year plus bonuses. In the Premier League he has played 66 games so far, scoring 7 goals.
Who arrived in 2023 from Newcastle for a fee of 59 million euros plus bonuses, Tonali had been out of action for nearly a year due to his disqualification in the betting case. L’Azzurro is also a staple of Gattuso’s national team, and boasts 27 appearances with the Italy shirt.
