Jannik Sinner, Bertolucci’s words cause discussion: "Gracilino the boy"

Jannik Sinner’s forfeit in Shanghai is causing discussion among insiders: the San Candido outfielder was forced to retire during the match against Tallon Griekspoor due to a cramping problem, aided by Shanghai’s humid weather. At Sky microphones, former tennis player and commentator Paolo Bertolucci commented on the Azzurro’s retirement as follows: “He’s a bit’ puny the boy”.
“Sorry because Sinner had a big chance in this tournament. Once the cramps, once the stomach, once the elbow, and then the blisters and the hip… I mean, it starts to be a lot of things. He doesn’t have the same physical consistency as a Djokovic or an Alcaraz, that seems obvious to me by now” those are the words that are making fans discuss on social.
“However, we don“t even have to worry that much. I repeat, in the tragedy, we have the number 2 in the world”, continued Bertolucci.
The’former tennis player does not foresee any consequences, however: “No problem, with cramps from the next day you are fine. They have to put rules, as there are in the WTA there must also be in the ATP because when you play here in Southeast Asia it can happen”.
